Where do you source this ingredient from?
Our Wakame is a fabulous Australian story – it is extracted from wild grown Undaria Pinnatifida Extract aka Wakame seaweed, sustainably sourced from the pristine ocean waters of Tasmania. This brown seaweed inhabits cold, harsh coastal waters to depths of approximately 20 metres. The exceptional conditions off southern Australia play a vital role in its nutrient dense nature; optimal cool temperatures, pristine water quality at the perfect depth to maximise light exposure in the plants life-cycle.
