What inspired the creation of Light Lotion?
With Light Lotion, Hunter Lab's new 3-in-1 moisturiser tinted SPF50, we’ve listened to the feedback of customers who’ve expressed they desire a simplified daily routine when it comes to moisturizing and protecting their skin from the sun. Not only this, but the pleasure principle is paramount i.e., a super lightweight feel, non-greasy finish and absolutely zero whitening effect on skin.
In our efforts to not only meet but exceed expectations, we set to formulating a multi-functional product promoting skin minimalism but never comprising results. It quickly became clear that in adding an SPF element, chemical (or organic) UV filters were the superior option. They allow a much lighter and enjoyable skin feel, a more inclusive finish with no white cast, and are highly effective at protecting skin from both UVA and UVB radiation.
Which UV filters are in Light Lotion?
Light Lotion Tinted SPF50 features four chemical UV filters: Octocrylene (UVB filter), Avobenzone (UVA filter), 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor (UVB/UVA filter) and Ensulizole (UVB filter).
